Whether you’re just starting out or have been part of Pearle Vision for years, there is always an opportunity to learn from and grow with your fellow business owners and professionals.
“I’m part of the Chicago market and we have great licensed operators in that market. We have a great rapport and we all interact with each other outside of our businesses, and that kind of relationship is important to succeeding in business,” says Licensed Operator Ketan Sheladia. “We try to hold ourselves to a standard and we all help each other out. We do what we can to build our community. We all work together and it works fantastically.”
Franchise Advisory Councils to help you grow
You’re not left to do all the networking on your own, of course. We also organize formal programs and events, such as our regional and national Franchise Advisory Councils (FACs), that are designed to help you network with other Licensed Operators.
“I am on the FAC for my region. We discuss issues, concerns and positive things that are going on in the stores and I can forward things to my contact in the National FAC,” says Licensed Operator Leanne Perry. “There is kind of a camaraderie with all the other Licensed Operators, and they are not afraid to share their ideas to help better your business. They have the same goals that you do in their optometry career, and that is to grow their business, to make their business profitable.”
Annual summits and workshops
Pearle Vision’s annual summits offer a terrific opportunity to learn from and network with Licensed Operators from around the country.
Each year, Pearle Vision holds a summit for franchisees, where you can meet other Licensed Operators from all over the country and find out what’s working for them. In addition, the summit features discussions and workshops on topics including health reform, marketing and product training.
The summits also feature an evening of awards that highlight some of the top-performing locations and operators, highlighting how they’ve achieved their success and what best practices others can take away from them. We don’t just celebrate their individual success; we help spread it to all of our Licensed Operators so everyone can grow.
