Pearle Vision Signs Area Development Agreement in Sacramento
A former sales and marketing executive with experience in the optical industry has signed a three-store area development agreement with Pearle Vision in the Sacramento market.
Sachin Patel plans to open three Pearle Vision EyeCare Centers to serve the areas of Sacramento, Roseville, Rockland and Elk Grove.
“I am looking forward to using my experience in the optical industry to build a successful business and to deliver high-quality vision care to my community,” Patel says. “Pearle Vision’s priority to ‘take care of the people’ aligns perfectly with how I approach my work. That’s what drew me to the company.”
Patel previously introduced the Eyeglass World concept in the Sacramento area and grew it to the No. 1 store in the company with no previous optical experience. Additionally, his wife owns a LensCrafters sublease, where Sachin Patel is responsible for business operations, including recruiting optometrists, human resources and payroll, patient satisfaction and retention strategies.
“Sachin’s success in driving a new-to-market store to the top of the company demonstrates his strong leadership, commitment to patient care and passion for driving results,” says Josh Robinson, vice president of licensing and development at Pearle Vision. “We are excited for Sachin to launch his new EyeCare Centers and deliver high-quality vision care to the Sacramento community.”
When he is not working, Patel enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, playing cricket and watching the Lakers.
An area development agreement grants franchisees exclusive territory rights in exchange for signing a contract to open a certain number of units in a particular market within a defined timeframe. Pearle Vision licensed owners with an area development agreement pay a reduced franchise fee and lower royalty fees.
